"An Open Letter to all Citizens"

Our beloved Nation’s form of government teeters on the brink of total obliteration, if it even truly exists yet at all. This may come as a surprise to, and be ridiculed by, the many who have been brainwashed by the great hoard of so called patriotic teachers and leaders (of the last half century and more) who have pounded into our heads and hearts “how great it is to live in a democracy!”
There should be no false messages of hope when impending doom is so imminent. After several years pondering and study in such matters, I am confident I have pinpointed the whole simple cause of this plethora of political trouble now upon us. There are but two groups of people who are to blame for the mess we find ourselves in.
1) Every elected or appointed official, having taken an oath to support the Constitution of their respective State, and/or that of the United States, who knowingly or carelessly initiates or supports actions and legislation, present or proposed, that is contrary to said Constitutions, is nothing less than a liar, cheat and traitor.
2) Every person of age who pledges allegiance to the flag of this great Union and to the Republic for which it stands (which is because of the United States Constitution), and supports or ignores politicians of aforementioned character, falls in the exact same category as said politicians.
My personal experience with individuals residing in, and politicians presiding over, our two most basic units of government (township and county) bears witness to the lack of zeal for that which our Country was founded on and therefore for any remedy to our awful dilemma. At the State and National level, the problem is as bad or worse. The level of ignorance, lip service, and even scorn to our Constitutions and attitudes of self-righteousness offers little hope and enforces belief that there are but a scant few of this present generation with enough knowledge, conviction and fortitude to do what needs to be done to stop our sorry, socialistic, slide. Edmund Burke said it best when he stated, “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”
There are instructions (with promise) from the Almighty from long ago. “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways: then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14
Is it too late? Are there any (or enough) good left among us? Will we repent of our pride and our apathy and do what it takes? Our Republic is all but dead. God help us.
